Under the wise leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction was established at the end of 1998, pursuant to Royal Decree No. នស / រកត / 1198/72 dated November 30th, 1998 and in the second legislature of the National Assembly, the law on the establishment of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction came into force by Royal Decree No. នស / រកម / 0699/09, dated June 23rd, 1999.
The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has the mission to direct and manage the work of land management, urban planning, construction, cadastre and geography of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In the past, all of these work sectors were under the jurisdiction of several separate institutions.
